Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Teuvia ("we," "us," or "our") operates teuvia.com and the Teuvia load planning tools and platform (together, the "Service"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Who we are
Teuvia is operated as an individual business, not through a registered company. References to "we," "us," and "our" throughout this policy refer to the operator of Teuvia. If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us at [email protected].
Information we collect
We collect different information depending on how you use the Service.
If you use our free tools (container loading calculator, CBM calculator, truck axle load calculator) without signing up: we do not require an account or any personal information to use these tools. The cargo dimensions, weights, and item details you enter are processed in your browser session to generate a result. We do not store this cargo information on our servers for later retrieval.
If you provide your email address (through our newsletter signup, a free checklist offer, our founding member interest list, or to access the 3D load planner) we collect:
- Your email address
- Your name or company name, if you choose to provide it
- Which specific form you submitted, so we can send you relevant follow-up content rather than unrelated messages
We store this information in our own systems and use it only to send you the content you asked for.
If you become a paying customer, payment is processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record. Creem collects and processes your payment card details, billing name, and billing address directly; we do not receive or store your raw card information. Creem also handles applicable sales tax, VAT, or other transaction taxes as part of its role as the merchant of record for your purchase. Creem's own privacy policy governs how they handle this payment information; you can review it at their website.
Automatically collected information: like most websites, our hosting provider and analytics tools automatically log standard technical information when you visit, including your IP address, browser type and version, device type, and the pages you visit. We use this for basic site operation, security, and understanding which content is useful to visitors, not to build individual profiles for advertising purposes.
How we use your information
We use the information described above to:
- Operate and improve the free tools and the load planning platform
- Send you content you've asked for (checklists, product updates, founding member notifications). We do not send unsolicited marketing beyond what you've signed up to receive
- Process payments and manage your subscription, where applicable, in conjunction with Creem
- Respond to support requests you send us
- Understand site usage at an aggregate level to improve our content and tools
- Maintain the security and proper functioning of the Service
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Who we share information with
We share information only with the service providers necessary to operate Teuvia:
- Creem, our Merchant of Record, for processing payments and associated tax compliance
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers, to operate the website and securely store the information you submit
- Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, for understanding how our site appears in search results; these do not identify you individually
We do not share your information with any other third party for their own marketing purposes.
Data retention
We retain your email address and associated information for as long as you remain subscribed to our communications, or until you ask us to delete it. Cargo and load plan data entered into our free tools is not retained on our servers; it exists only within your browser session and is not saved once you close or refresh the page, since no persistent storage for this data currently exists in the Service.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us at [email protected] and we will respond as quickly as we reasonably can.
If you are in the European Union or United Kingdom, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you are a California resident, you have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and the right to request deletion.
Cookies
We use minimal cookies and similar technologies necessary for the Service to function, for example, remembering that you've already seen a particular prompt during your session. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
Children's privacy
The Service is intended for business use by adults working in logistics, freight, and supply chain roles. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the Service is not directed at children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the Service evolves, for example, if we introduce account-based features, team collaboration, or new third-party tools. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and for material changes we will make a reasonable effort to notify active users by email.
